In March 2026, Louis Vuitton is expected to finally open its first hotel in Paris. Located a 103/111 Avenue des Champs-Élysée, this opening marks a historic turning point for Louis Vuitton, as it is expanding its reach into the hospitality sector. This project highlights the diversification of the largest luxury brand into the hotel-restaurant sector, a diversification that was initiated in France in 2022 with its restaurant in Saint-Tropez. Conceived as a boutique luxury destination, this hotel promises an immersive experience that blends the brand’s heritage, design culture and French art de vivre.

The hotel occupies a Haussmann-style building on one of the world’s most famous avenues in Paris. The structure, originally built in 1898 as a hotel, later hosted various institutions, mostly banks, and eventually served as the headquarters of HSBC. Covering around 6,000 square meters, the building has been renovated since its original structure and it has been transformed in order to represent a Louis Vuitton trunk, referencing the brand’s first iconic luggage and turning the construction site itself into an eye-catching statement on the avenue. Additionally, the location is particularly symbolic since the hotel stands next to Louis Vuitton’s largest store on the Champs-Élysées, emphasizing the brand’s presence on one of Paris’s most popular streets.

For Louis Vuitton, LVMH flagship brand, it will be the first time a hotel carries its name, even if the LVMH’s group already owns numerous properties through brands such as Cheval Blanc and Bulgari Hotels. The project reflects a broader trend in the luxury industry: brands are increasingly focusing on building immersive environments where retail, culture, cuisine and hospitality can intersect and interact. The hotel is expected to offer exclusive suites and services tailored to an elite clientele, with industry estimates suggesting that rates per night could reach around €10,000 for the most exclusive accommodations.

By entering the hospitality sector, Louis Vuitton aims to further deepen its connection with customers by offering not just products, but experiences rooted in craftsmanship, design and culture. The opening of the Louis Vuitton Hotel is expected to become one of the most important hospitality launches in Paris in 2026.
